I know I went up on the tracks on some giant Maitowoc crane at ConExpo, they had about half a dozen guys from Manitowoc standing at the crane talking aobut it. It was the biggest one at their booth, I wonder if this was it, or if it was the 21000, I don't know I'm not a crane guy, but I wish I had a good camera, the thing was HUGE, even if it was a crane Jim

That ConExpo was the official introduction of the crane. In 2005 the largest crawler crane on display at Manitowoc was the 16000 and in 2008 it was the 14000 that went to Lampson. This year's convention was also the 14000's first U.S public showing. Do you remember the black carpet at the Manitowoc booth? That represented the footprint of the 31000.
