I have loved this truck model since day one (well day one for me when I found out about this). I think that was even before any photos. I can certainly say I love it all the same if not all the more now that photos have been posted here and else where and now that they are finally available......whoo-hoo!
I definitely agree that a D9H should be made, or at least I hope so. Of course I hope to see CCM produce the 992 or 992A as well, though I have my doubts this will happen.

Nice truck. Long waited. But why no cat logo on it? same goes as the earlier 988. a bit of dissappointing.. in my opinion if it come with old pacman logo will be perfect.

They are "age appropriate" in the markings - the first 769's and 988's predate the PacMan logo.

These are much better in hand than in pictures and the pictures are outstanding (thanks Mike). I, too, am looking forward to the 245's. Hopefully we will continue seeing more new and old CAT diecast in 1:48 from CCM. They are the type of model I have always appreciated, accurate in the rendering and detail to match. Nice works of industrial art. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Elis-Hobby-Diecast/803248369690387?ref=hl

I will also back up what is said about them with the pictures, the pics are great but the real deal is exceptional.
Mine turned up downunder yesterday and they look so good paired up with the 988.
The 245,s in pacman logo should also look sweet but if the rumours are true on what is coming after this lot then the traditionalists are going to be very happy.
This 1/48 diecast series CCM has started has got some legs left in it yet and i look forward to the announcements hopefully early 09
