These models are made by Daniel Schwager from Switzerland. You can choose between a kit version or ready built model. He had built several Gottwald crane models before these, but they were all single pieces. AMK 306-83,AK 450-83,TC 3600,AK 680-3 and AK 912-103
I can´t tell anything about the quality.Maybe Rainer Markgraf can help. The AMK 400/500 was his first project and the AMK 600 is the new one.According to himself the new model has less resin and more CNC cutted parts on it which should improve the quality standard.
At least I can say Daniel has all my respect for he developed these models all on his own without any model company in the background and all from his own money and on his own time. I wish I could afford one of these.

Hi, my name is Daniel Schwager, I'm from Switzerland and I am the builder of the Gottwald-Cranes (AMK 400 and AMK 600). I have been building many Gottwald-Cranes before by hand. Since last year I own a CNC cutting machine so I'm able to reproduce the parts again and that allows me to build the Cranes for interested people. However, it's still much work to build one model and that means that each model is nearly unique and therefore expensive. The AMK 600 is my newest project - see pictures below. I also built a boom transporter for this crane as well as for the AMK 400 in Riga Mainz livery. Regarding the question about the resin-kits, I'm not producing them anymore - too many problems with the silicone-forms. The AMK 400 is now built on the CNC machine as well. If you would like to have some more informations please contact me by PM or email: dsc07@bluewin.ch. A website is under construction. Greetings Daniel

Hello Daniel, I'm wondering if you also could make a GOTTWALD "gelandekran" based on a CATERPILLAR 631 pull unit? Just one like HIMOBO just to build: Best regards, Wouter

Dear Wouter
Isn't Himobo still producing this model? Otherwise I probably could build it, but I do not have any drawings, pictures, etc.
Greetings Daniel
