Can anybody here give me the dimensions and possibly real manufacturer of the Sword models Fermentation tank? I'd like to see which of my heavy haulage models would make a good carrier since I don't have 3x3x3.

EDIT: Never mind, I've already found it: Sword Models Fermentation tank @ Cranes etc.

Real thing:

Length: 21 meters (70 feet)
Diameter: 6 meters (20 feet)
Weight: 36,300 kg (80,000 lbs)

Now, if someone could measure op the model, that would be great! Hopefully I'll be able to get one myself this week.

Here's mine:

I can measure it when I get home if you'd like.

That would be perfect! The review states it to be 21 meters / 70 feet long in real life, which would make it about 42 cm / 16.5 inches long in 1/50th. What's important for me is the length of the tank itself, without the cone at the bottom. It's just a guess, but I estimate the cone to be about 1/5th the length of the entire model, or about 8.4 cm / 3.3 inch long with the rest of the tank being 33.6 cm / 13 inches long. I might be off though.

I just ordered mine though! It's an expensive month... Two new Liebherr R 954 B's, the NZG 2-axle Nooteboom Pendel-X and the WSI 2-bed-4 Nooteboom EURO lowloader with Interdolly arrived last week, and today I ordered the WSI Frank Norager MWT and the Fermentation tank.

Oh well, luckily I had some money saved up! Teeth Teeth

I've received the tank yesterday. When opening the box, I could only think of one thing: That's one HUGE model!! Very heavy as well. Just too bad, as stated in the review, there are no feet included. That would be even better. BTW, for those who would like something different, I think you can pretty easily customise this tank in a rocket booster or something. Paint it white and black and you've got yourself you're own little piece of a Saturn V for example.

Anyway, the US means of transportation was the 3x3x3. But these rigs are not allowed on European roads, so we have to think of something else. This is it...

I've used NZG's Nooteboom Pendel-X 5-axle lowloader with two axle jeepdolly. Instead of the normal floor, I've added the complete floor of the 2-axle Pendel-X plus the extension parts of a second 2-axle Pendel-X lowloader. This gives just the perfect space for the tank.

Unloaded...

@GusO, That looks amazing!! Very nice set up you've got there!! I'll just keep it with one for now. Perhaps in the future.

@AndyF16, thanks for the manufacturers name! I've already found their website.
