I have now started my 330D Military Excavator. This is an extra 330D cab that I had so I figure I might as well start and see how it turned out. The other parts are on thier way. I did this all today but only got this side done. The rest of the cab sides still need painted with the black and brown. ![](http://i985.photobucket.com/albums/ae333/diecastdirtboy/Models/330DMilitaryCab.jpg)

Why is "phonetically" spelt with a "ph"?

The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

Thanks. The whole cab is now done and I'm wating for the rest of the excavator. Hopefully it will come tomorrow. The paint drys super fast and its very easy to do. So this should make a nice machine.

Great project. I have never seen a military excavator model before so this should be good.

I started a D10T I don't think it is as good as the 330D Cab. Lucky they are D10T parts that are left over. ![](http://i985.photobucket.com/albums/ae333/diecastdirtboy/Models/MilitaryD10T3.jpg) ![](http://i985.photobucket.com/albums/ae333/diecastdirtboy/Models/MilitaryD10T1.jpg) ![](http://i985.photobucket.com/albums/ae333/diecastdirtboy/Models/MilitaryD10T2.jpg) I'll also update my site with these pics and another custom.

Just a thought, have you tried spraying Testor's dullcoat over the model? It will take away all the shine, it has a way of making things look more real. ![](http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm186/C-Claus/TD%2025/HPIM0576.jpg) There is no shine left on this ole dozer after the dullcoat went on.
