My question is what happens when you lose it. Then you have to search every carpet pile.

But it DEFINATELY is not Z scale!!!!!!!! That next to Z scale is like N scale next to O scale (1:100 next to 1:50). This train must be 1:600 scale, even his fingers are giant!!!! Good find on this!!!

but i've had Z scale and it is alot bigger than this is. A Z scale layout like the one in the video would fit in a briefcase NOT between two fingers!!!!!
N scale is 1:160 Z scale is 1:220 or 1:385mm
The other thing I could think of is it is a Z scale model for an N scale scene is what I think thay were trying to do!!!!

It is very obvious that some here did not watch and read the entire video.....and then made comments of which the answers were very clearly explained.....

Amazing video! If you re-read the initial comments in the video, it says that he had an N scale train set which wasn't shown (1:160) and then he made a Z scale version (1:220) of the original N scale model (1:160). Basically he made a 1:220 scale version model of a model that was in 1:160, madman! So in effect, this model is in a scale of 1:35,200. Pretty small huh! Right, I understand that the model shown is not Z scale. Its Z scale in the sense that if his N scale model layout were to real size 1/1 scale then, the model in the model shop window would be Z scale. So when he said to sit in his Z scale hobby shop he means the N scale hobby shop (Z scale building made to look like a model shop) sells Z scale trains and Z scale in the layout actually being 1:35,200. -Josh

No need to be sorry Dain. This kind of reminded me of Holm Kampfer diorama where he had models of models under a tent next to his (1/87 model) machines. Its always fun to see people make their models and dioramas and layouts more clever and interesting. (The scene I'm thinking of isn't up on 1/87 Vehicles though, he posted it on this forum if I remember correctly.) -Josh
