Justin, I think you took what he said the wrong way. The saying basically means that until they are put in the seat and have people watching them, they always say they can do it better. Think of it as being an armchair quarterback.

This forum is doing OK...so, there aren't as many here as a few years ago...well good because some of those who have left really needed to go somewhere else anyway, and as a result of them leaving this Forum gained more credibility and definitely improved. So them leaving was actually a bonus.

As for leaving of your own accord....I don't wish to know really. Venting your spleen and blaming everyone else for your leaving, is you, refusing to accept responsibility for your own actions(a very common problem these days). So if you (not naming anyone here) wish to leave, then do it with respect and dignity and bugger off. That way when you decide you wish to return to the forum( and a lot do), there won't be a lot of people ready to have a shot at you for returning(my biggest fault ...a seriously long memory).

As of late there have been some great threads on here...so they weren't to your liking, well so what, get yourself a bridge and get over it. Be a bit more open minded....I don't collect the dirt stuff, but I certainly appreciate a lot of the threads posted here for their information and efforts. The threads on heavy haulage models are excellent as are the the crane ones..all of them.

Some of you people need to go out on the street and start looking for a smile and a sense of humour(that is the way we spell it here by the way....you know..the Queens English!). If you wish to be a miserable, whinging, know all ...then go ...and go with haste.

I have sat on this reply for an hour or so wondering if I should post it or not and you know what?, I think I should because I haven't changed my mind as yet so here it is.

that is all very well worded , but at the end of the day it is a forum for models
at one stage going back not so long ago out of 12 posts on the first page i think one had model content in it and i had several people pming me saying this chit chat with nothing to do about models had taken over so a few of us posted pics of our models and it worked, we cant all be heads of knowledge about machines we dont drive.
regards gus
that,s what the forum is all about as gci said get on with it
