Nice heavy model. But not very detailed. And I´m not happy with the tracks. Now.let´s modify this a little bit: And about half a day later: I will also add some other details, give it hydraulic lines and a new bucket. But first I will have to modify the other side of the tracks tomorrow. Jan

Outstanding work as always Jan. I really love the way you've accurately narrowed-down the tracks...amazing! Cheers, Craig
If I won the lottery I'd buy a demo machine and a perfectly good building to destroy...rebuild it, and destroy it again!

some progress pics: I have now added the hydro lines on the boom section...... as well as the ram guards for the boom cylinders. And at the moment I´m trying to find the right shape for the stick end.Liebherr´s drawings are not too detailed on this point. So this is kind of trial and error. Cabguard and mirrors have been added, the air intake on the side is covered with steel mesh. Still to do is the modification of the stick including another ram guard, quick coupler and new bucket. And also I will add a few more small details. Jan

Great improvements. It looks quite a bit better, even though the base model is a nice one. Chris

Fantastic detail work! Where did you get the main boom hydraulic line manifolds? They look to be cast in white metal??
Thank you, Mark

Is it me or there's a huge casting mistake on the undercarriage? The bottom track guides are sitting on the tracks and the rollers are hanging in the air... First time I notice it. At least your detailing job makes it easier to forget.

Outstanding work again Jan. You manage to really capture every machine you modify, it's in the small details. Even the door lining improves that cab 10 fold. Keep the updates coming!!! Rowan. 1/25th scale CAT 375L Excavator1/25th scale CAT D11T Bulldozer

The model is almost finished now.I have put on a quick coupler and an all new ultra heavy XHD rock bucket. I will post more photos tomorrow when I have the ripper tooth and the block handling bucket ready painted. Sunday I will take the model to the Mini Bauma expo. And the quick coupler and attachments will soon be ready for sale. ready for some serious action. Jan

Why is "phonetically" spelt with a "ph"? ... It's better to be silent and thought a fool, then to speak up and remove all doubt The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.
