That PTC35 is simply outstanding. Great purchase, any idea what it weighs? I can't wait to see pics of the 31000 alongside the PTC! Rowan. 1:25th scale CAT 375L excavator

Excellent!! She is a monster. If it weren't for some many large and expensive models coming out this year, I'd probably have the DS version myself.

Looks awesome. Saw one at the DHS/expo booth set up. It was indeed Bad a$$. Your a lucky dude. Very cool and congrats. Thanks for the pics. And for those who are curious, After seeing the Manitowoc booth, the 31000 is definately taller in my opinion. But this thing looks much bigger and heavier to me. But then again, they were not side by side. Totally different areas. Either way, I wont be getting either one.........I'm gonna go cry now........................lucky turds.

Jason, just tell the wife its the "assist crane" to help you setup the Christmas tree and it needs to be setup now to make sure everything functions properly when it comes time to do the heavy lift

Great model Bryce congrats!
Now for all of the owners of the first PTC, it would be nice if they realeased that main boom as a small kit. A couple hundred dollars and you could configure your existing crane like this. I'll leave it at that since I don't want to ruin your thread.
Come on 31000!

As an after-thought, I was curious as to everyone's opinion who saw the AC 1000 by Conrad at the ConExpo. There has been some comparisons made between the 31000 and the PTC but the other large crane model that was at the show was the AC1000.
As for me, when I saw the display, I was disappointed. I was surprised that the ballast weights were not in the display and to me, the model just kind of seemed plain. When I compare the LTM 11200 with the AC1000, and since they are relatively the same cost, the 11200 is far superior.
Just curious as to what everyone else thought... I don't believe anyone has even mentioned seeing the AC1000 at the show.
