At an couple of model companys in Europe (petermodelshop.nl, KSM) say that they don't have a diliverydate at all. and that same goes for the Terex AC 1000/9

Mammoet- Size does Matter.

I would not be worried if these were delayed until 2012! With the AMK's, SGC120, 31000, Sarens LG1550, WSI trucks etc...., it is going to be an expensive few months as it is.

But it will be good to see them, especially the liveried ones.

Hi Guy's,

As far as I know (and have been told by a reliable source) NZG have no intention of doing any of the luffer and jib sets in any company liveries, only the standard Liebherr yellow. I think what Steve meant to say is that collectors will respray them themselves, I am planing on getting three sets 1 for the Mammoet, 1 for the Sarens and if it every shows up one for the McNallys "Big Hamish". Mind you having said that if there is enough demand NZG might just change their mind, its all down to supply and demand.

Steve.

Yes at this stage nzg will not do liveried versions which is beyond me and I can't understand why, with the 11200's going off with such a huge bang on there release you would think nzg would get on the bandwagon, the master is made so what would it take to change colours, they could make a killing on these like the crane, but as steve(birdman) stated we will have to paint our own to what ever,oh yeh Steve the big hamish????????,makes you wonder.
on another note the TWH GROVE 5095's maybe november for anyone waiting for the mediaco or membreys and the rest.
It seems to me that CHINA has to much to deal with,to much in the pipeline for release, considering all these are made in china, you have twh wsi and nzg all looking to get their models done, just think about it,next year is going to be a killer on one's bank acc/credit card once they all hit the market,I dread it,tooo much to buy.Steve.

That is a shame, they are FOOLS! I was wondering, since Mammoet is usually first, and I had not seen a listing for it. Well I have a couple plain ones bought and paid for, at least the RAL1007 fits several, Factory, FB, and Sarens. Well, I guess I will be painting.Teeth

Wouldn't it be nice if they are not going to offer liveries, to offer unpainted sets? I would love that, and I think if there were no liveried versions made, they would sell quite well.

Just a thought,

I raised the question of unpainted lattice jibs with NZG earlier in the year. I was told that any unpainted zinc parts would not have a long shelf life and it is therefore something they were not looking to provide.

With regard to the different company colours, you have to be realistic as to how many collectors will want to purchase them for their models, coupled with the cost of producing a small run of each different colour in China.

According to NZG, the jibs for the LTM11200 are expected to be available from model dealers at the end of September, so there's not long to wait.

YCC started out selling brass boom cylinders unpainted, but for the 11200 they have offered them and the CWs painted to match each of the customer liveries. I can't speak for how well that worked out for YCC, but it seems that NZG would sell more painted versions of the jib to those of us that don't do a lot of repainting.

I completely agree, YCC probably profitted more than NZG did, what with all the little kits and cylinders prepainted. I know I bought at least one of each. I have no burning desire to paint a bunch of jibs, it's a pain in the US with RAL colors, plus very time consuming. I thought bare might sell well, I did not consider the corrosion issue. I can't belive they don't at least do Mammoet?? They WOULD SELL OUT QUICKLY, so the cost of production would be recovered very quickly! Well it's their loss.

They would not have to be unpainted, just have them primed, then the customer could paint them in the livery of their choice.
