Looks like they are using a gps system for the grade with the paver. Nice airport as well

Cool... They recently built a second runway at Edwards and also resurfaced the original one. I couldn't get close though.
So other than looking sporty, what is the purpose of the swept back sides on those dumps?

The trailer box doesn't have a hoist so to dump it, it needs to be transferred from the trailer into the truck box. After it gets dumped the trailer box rolls back onto the trailer.
