Sweet, MICAT has 2, one exactly like the white one and one like the red one but in white for the cat dealer to use.

Man that's a good looking L9000 in the back row..Just Kidding. That is a lot of dollars sitting there I'm sure, with just four trucks. I really really like the wide cab on those trucks. As much as I love Peterbilts, they just don't have the cab width. These like much of the modern trucks have nice wide cabs. I guess this is the only truck in America where you can't get optional manufacture engines... YoutubePhotobucket pictures

I read a review on the Cat truck in a recent construction mag. and it did not have a lot of good to say about inside cab room. Sounded as though it was rather crowded. They are rather costly. The company I drive for has one on order for this spring. A 6 axle dump with an automatic trans. $190,000. Sounds rather high to me. I do not have to worry as I wont be driving it.

I guess in the long run, its cheaper to drop all that extra cash for the Automatic than it is to pay for a qualified driver. Until they put it on its side, but then that's what insurance is for. We have 6 of them at our dealer. One is for our fleet, one is a demo, and they say the others have been sold and are just waiting to be delivered to the customers. We have sold 7 in total and have more on order. -John

Thanks for posting the pictures. I my opinion, I think it is an ugly truck. Looks like a Navistar cab with a Volvo hood. Ken

The guy at the dealership told me that Cat is working on its own designs for the trucks instead of using Internationals, making them completely Cat trucks including the engines.

I am going to have to disagree with you on that one, I think they look sick, one the best looking designs out there for a truck, but all of us have different opinions.

O&G Industries here in CT is testing one for Cat and has been involved in the design side of it as well, there was an article in the Construction Equipment Guide about 2 months ago. The truck they are testing has Cats automatic transmission as well. Here is a Link to the Article: http://www.constructionequipmentguide.com/OandG-Industries-Drives-Off-in-a-New-Caterpillar-CT660-Vocational-Truck/17174/
