I don't think it is in 1:50 scale. Just wrong scale printed on the box.
It should be around 8 inches long.

I would try Atlas Copco's online shop (if they have one) when It comes out. It can be 1/50 scale because Old Cars made a IR Hammer in 1/50 a while ago.

Why not make one yourself ? It's not that hard to build one. As a matter of fact, I'm working on one right now. Don't have the decals ,but can get them made easily.

It's 1/50 scale, The Atlas Copco guys were handing them out at the National Federation of Demolition Contractors Demolition Day seminar/exhibition in Newcastle. And yes it is a very very big hammer, It's on a Hitachi EX1200. (Pic Credit 777group)

It is in 1:50th scale, I have seen it mounted on a Hitachi 870 and CAT 390 models.

I didn't want to post before my experience in ordering these from my local Altas Copco dealer, but after your experience I'll comment. First of all; it's a shame that the thing isn't even close to 1:50. The only reason I did not fall into the same thing is when they quoted me shipping costs exceeding the cost of the models, I said screw it and cancelled the order. Now that I see what you have received, the jackhammers would have been really big too! Please use this before clicking "post"??? You may be surprised with what you see!

Comparing the picture with the tape measure to the picture of the real thing, it looks like something close to 1:25th scale. :(
