Here are the few pieces of my collection. Most of them are in Mammoet or Mammoet Salvage livery, but I am planning to do other liveries too eventually. I will gradually add more and more equipment as I just got started with pictures sessions. Best is to come. Note: For the custom made pieces, I will go as 1) Original (inspired from) 2) Source (on shelves model) 3) Project I may have used pictures posted by some of you on this forum. I hope you won't be offended by me using them as reference. Enjoy! 1) Volvo Mammoet A40E. I customized a A40F last year, but this one is more accurate to the 1:1. "/> 2) "/> 3) "/> "/> "/> 1) Mammoet SPMT spacers and paint customs. I've added details to the SPMTs and put 3M plastic pellicle to prevent scratches (just like in the A40E box); "/> "/> 2) the making has been documented here previously: Spacers making of"/> "/> "/> "/> "/> 1) Clam shell bucket. This one was my very first all custom piece. Steel with brass pulleys which are operational. There is no reference in particular. I studied numerous designs on the web, made cardboard dummies and a failed (would not open due to short arms and wrong pivot point) first attempt. "/> "/> 3) "/> "/> "/> "/> Loads here. The corgi vessel is original, but the frame supports were reworked and painted. The Atlas Copco generator is one rare 1:35 piece of my collection, but it is hard to tell which scale it really is compared to the 1:50 other ones unless you are well knowledgeable of their specifications: 2) "/> 3) "/> "/>

I really like building these things. Actually much better than just collecting them. I keep what is really relevant for my dio as the next step will be building haulage and lifting scenarios and have this in a dedicated Flick'r account. Will eventually post. Thanks for your nice comments! Stephane

Cracking Job.. just one mistake . The Grove RT ,real one is a Grove RT700E .. the modern day RT870 Think they also called it RT760 , The truck mount version was rated at 70T over the rear 60T over the side.

Thanks buddy, I always like it when I do something wrong (actually, I only went by the original model's box: it really states 870 but you must be right, even companies can do mistakes). I am not a professionnal in lifting so I always like to know... Stephane

Not so bad ,Im sure Mammoet at some point rented one of those old hulk's. One the bright side . NZG did make an RT700E in 1/50.. and Mammoet does have these in current use . Not such a bad day , just found another project Finding one in 1/50 may be a bit of a battle.

Finding one in 1/50 may be a bit of a battle. Yeah, that one was cheap (found on EBay) and already white. Maybe I will eventually convert it to the usuall black and red color scheme. Stephane
