That is a proper burnout.

Looking good Ethan, but you should be using a sheeps foot compactor before the smooth drum as you are trying to get good deep compaction of that base material first then after final grading you use the smooth drum to make it flat and ready for road surface.

I'm a kid at heart, so I will play with any model construction vehicle from 1:87 scale to 1:1 scale!!!!

Not much time for the diorama right now. The Koehring 1166E is consuming most of my time.

This soil is mostly sand and silt so the vibration is really where we are getting our compaction from. If we had a little more clay the sheepsfoot would be needed.

Putting in some flexible HDPE waterline. There are only a few stakes but this guy seems to hit every one.

Locating the main to put in a tee and gate valve.

A 320 cuts 5' trench like boss.

Dropping in some waterline. How do you lift flexible HDPE? All the waterline around here is usually ductile iron.

Wishing this thing had tracks.

The backhoe is not much better. Backhoes kind of suck at everything, but they can do anything. Teeth

Power!

Usually you would want to use straps on the plastic pipe because the chain might damage it by pinching or crushing the pipe.

Great job though Ethan, keep up the great work!!

Cutting a swale by seat of his pants. Lost art.

Looks like a failed proof roll to me.

Time for some under cuts.

Time for a new job. Putting in some gravity sanitary sewer. Also the largest part is some steel water pipe with a concrete cover.

Set up some room for a yard.

This D5G has some serious slop in the bushings but it can still cut a yard area flat.
