Not nice at all…pretty sure he/she didn't intend for that to happen. Then you need to imagine if that hit your car with you and your family in it…..scary to say the least.
Then again, I just completed a very long drive and i swear every second truck driver was talking on a mobile phone, one of them was even on my side of the road driving at me until he realised(the double unbroken lines meant nothing)…his CEO got a phone call to rearrange his driving habits also. The Police also got the footage from my in car camera, complete with the very readable number plate.

If you the dolly isn't following the truck. The truck is on the centre line and the dolly is heading outside the fog line, thats what happens when you don't have a remote controlled steerable dolly and wait for the dolly to self correct.

Can't see how only some chains is going to hold that beam once momentem of an irregular road surface catches it and gets it rocking !To me they need like four metal bookends to really stabilze something that massive !

We haul em all the time 180 ft long 125 tons 27 ft wide concrete and steel . Harris Camden Terminal Company . Had a train run thru one last year 75 tons 135 ft long train won .Penn Dot. route , Pennsylvania State Police Super Load escorted. Rebuilding the 6 axel 75 ton dolly now . Oops 3 locos & 19 cars derailed. Turned the beam into roadstone. Have around 15 dollys , High Transport has over 25.

That was a remote controled by driver and or escort, chained wrong and not watching ,oops beam probably ok , driver any report ,one sudden hero to zero .
