Good Morning All,
Well i found the Rogers 4axle trailer i have been looking for, but there is just one problem it will not hook up to the fifth wheel on the Peterbilt 379. I did not realize that the King Pin sizes on the trailers are different from the 3 axle rogers to the 4 axle rogers. Anyone else have this problem ?
Thanks Doug

Not with the items your are talking about, but I do have this problem with WSI items. Every time I have purchased a tractor and trailer separate it is a crap shoot as to whether or not I will have make alterations. Now I will not buy anymore trucks unless they come complete.

My yellow 4 axle Rogers hooks up the 5th wheel on my Pete 379 with no problem. The king pins on the 3 axle and 4 axle do have a different designs. That seems to be because the 5th wheel on the T800W and 379 set at different heights so they had to make it a bit "longer" on the 4 axle trailers so they would set level. The first batch of 379s with the 3 axle rogers are a tiny bit different than the second run of 379s that came with the nelson trailers. The wheels and fenders are a brighter silver on the newer ones too. To make the 4 axle fit the older 379, I had to drill out the 5th wheel plate to make it a tiny bit bigger.

The 379 I used is one of the older ones, the yellow with black fenders. Although the 5th wheel on it could be off of the newer 379 I bought since they have both had them removed and could have gotten mixed up. The drive axles on the newer versions are wider then on the older ones. I also noticed a slightly smaller front tire on the 379 that came with the tub grinder then on the 379 that came with the ramp trailer. It seems there have been small modifications made to the 379s with each new version. My Facebook page: NorCalDiecastCustomsClifton
