Thanks for sharing of your pictures of the N.C. trip. I second Kens sentiment about the old Macks. Ialso like the looks of the old Petes and KW with the J style head lights. I do not like the looks of either truck the head light set into the fenders.

They certainly have a terrific collection of antique trucks.Usually i am not a big fan of trucks but i managed to find some amazment looking at all the pictures of big rigs fully restored. I Wonder what's the deal with the Inter Transtar cabover with no rear axles on the third last picture on page 5, anyone knows?? Max.
Cat 245.....Now and Forever I am looking for industrial auction brochures from Ritchie Bros, Miller & Miller, Forke Bros, First Team Auction, Max Rouse, etc from the 70's, 80's and 90's.I am a collector and heavy equipment enthusiast and these pamphlets are loaded with nice pictures of cleaned and freshly painted equipment.Thet don't have much value once the sale is over but they are a great help to me in preserving the memory of machines that are no longer being built. Please, help my hobby by looking in your old storage boxes and file folders for these old auction sale brochures.Your help is much appreciated.

With all of the southern based trucking companies that are no longer in business, and that collectors have redone copies of the rigs, I have never seen a Hennis rig. They were a rather large company and were one of the first that I can remember that operated in this area (Ohio) in the early sixties. I do not recall if they had terminals in Ohio, but there was a lot of their rigs on the road.
