Seems like an unfounded comment considering even on the board today there are about 12 (yes 12) threads regarding earthmoving equipmen(in some form or other) and three regarding cranes and one of them has a heap of earthmoving gear as always ..Cranes etc(great thread as usual)…and on the first three pages of general topics the eathmoving gear far outnumbers cranes. So you guys get more than your fair share…..I also get the tongue in cheek bit. I also look forward to the release of a new Liebherr front shovel….to pull it apart for heavy loads…it's the only time that earthmoving stuff looks really good…LOLTeeth Teeth

This would be awesome!

CCM is releasing the 349EL. I don't think you'll ever see it in with any other manufacturer because it was said before that CAT does not like/want different model manufacturers producing the same model. Once it's done it sounds like that is it. So basically you won't see a 349EL done by Norscot or Tonkin. Now a 349F-that could be a possibility but I highly doubt it. Same goes for the 390D and the 374D, it was done in ME version so that could be it. Unless you get into the same scenario as the E/F series versions.

And not sure if that is meant towards me but it always seems like there are never-ending announcements for cranes between new models and/or repaints.

Not aimed at you Tom…and yes there are a great many announcements for new cranes and their liveries just the same as there are new and different types of earthmoving stuff…I think we all have a soft spot for all this type of gear elsewise we would not be here as much. My cranes are my choice but I also have a few earthmovers too….you just can't have heavy haulage without both.

I'd like to see some more 10 - 15 ton excavators and possibly some skid steers also a western star 4900 sb dump truck or float truck would be nice.

An LR 13000 model is very unlikely ever to be produced - because of its size, weight and cost.

Jim, I think the decorated sample of the new 12x8 steerable, the dragline bucket trailers, C509 5x8, tooling models for another new Kenworth truck, the new ballast box, B Doubles, road Trains and tipper combinations. Also the Samples of the 1/24 K200 Kenworth and 4x8 trailer model kit. Its also rumoured about a large eathmoving machine broken down into parts to be used a loads.

I'd be happy with the LR 1300 from Weldex! Or even the LR 1600 or Kobelco 2500!
