Guess it would work perfect for mud or clearing applications, could be a way to phase out small dozers. All I know is it would make a cool model.

I can see a lot of these skid steers going to right of ways and pipeline work. Could even put bigger grousers on it and then it could really go anywhere!

Nice to see Cat finally caught up to a concept Bobcat introduced about 4 years ago. now if only they could make the rest of the machine to the same quality standard as Bobcat...

I will run a cat before a bobcat any day and anytime. Bobcats just feel a little weird to me. It's all personal preference I guess.

I guess it truely is. personally, I prefer a machine that works, isn't riddled with electrical issues and doesn't take a 3 step choreographed process to put it in float!

but that's just me. Whistle

Cat skid steer loaders wheel and track works very well compared to most other brands. I prefer the B series models as they are more rugged and can take the thorsen of the jobsite stress. Compare to Bobcat Vs Cat on the jobsite the cat will push through the material while bobcat hits into it, even when you look at design the cat skid steer buckets are the best that even people put cat buckets on other skid steer loaders as those buckets cut through material. In every machine there will be advantages and disadvantages but the cat stands strong.

While I prefer cat just because I don't like foot pedals, the bobcats are nearly indestructible. The demo companies I have worked for use nothing but bobcat skid steers.

I'll be the odd man out. I am a big case fan. I use cat and bobcat at work, and have used deere new holland and kubota as well. The bobcats are nearly indestructible pigs. The cats are too complicated. Deere and new holland are too heavy. Case is a nice happy medium. Kubota is a very close second.
