This was not an original idea, it belongs Ken. Here is his version. Our mechanics started our own machine by cutting up our brand new machine. Or new-to-us. A great buy at $50 at a local store. I am going to be using an extra CCM D10 blade that I got on eBay. The key will be making enough clearance underneath the D11 for the C-Blade. The blade will also get a coat of new Caterpillar yellow.

After painting the blade three times I finally got a result I can live with. I think that there were cantaminates inside the pores of the blade casting. After washing the piece several times I finally got a decent paint finish. I still had one small "fish eye" on the blade.

The C-blade frame mounts a little low to the D11. There is not an accurate amount of clearance below the Norscot model.

Great job!!! As far as the fish eye problem, you can get fish-eye eliminator at your local auto-paint store. It is a small dropper stile bottle, and it will do the trick. As I remember it is not to pricey, and for what it does it is well worth it. Anyway keep up the Great Work. Wes

Good job with the paint. Don't worry, it is not unusuall that I do 3-4 repaint attempts myself due to decals or clear coat issues. That scraper is huge; the D11 looks like a tiny dozer behind it. Thought it was a D7... Stephane
