As always, I am truly amazed. I look at your detail and wonder how you are able work with such small scale. This is great! how did you make the grinding sparks?
Sorry I missed your request for beach sand. Down here in North Carolina, we have lots. Let me know next time and i will send you some!

Really cool. I like the rusty boat section and the welders as well as the puller/generator units of course. You really make these models come to life in a realistic fashion. Yes, don't stop; just like some talented members here too, you are inspiration for both the collectors and the modelers on this Forum. Stephane

Nice display for your builds. Acme rigging company Did you do salt weathering on the ship portion. I have heard of the railroaders doing it to bridge girders.

Tom,
You never cease to amaze me with your skill and talent. This little diorama shows close attention to detail in so many ways. Brilliantly executed!! Keep on inspiring us, and continue building these impressive gems.

I'd like to thank every one for their kind words about my project. They say, "Collect what you like." The same goes for scratch building, find some thing you like, develop a mind's eye view of it, start planning and building it. As you gain experience and talent, your projects will become easier. Don't give up!!!! I you run into difficulty during a build, set it aside for awhile so you can figure out how to proceed. I am surprised no one asked me where the chain came from. I bought it at Home Depot!!!!!!
