So I know I am not the first to notice the blade on these NZG dozers is gigantic.

I cut a little out of the blade on my D9N and it is still too big, plus it did not turn out very well. D10T-D9N-D8R comparison.

I decided to work on my own blade, only problem is that I wanted a couple blades and the blade has to be metal. Normally I would do a project like this in brass, but it just was going to take forever to build them individually out of brass. So I started on a Styrene blade.

Cutting edge needs to be sanded straight. A blast of primer shows some sanding still needs done.

So my question. What does it take to cast something like this in white metal? I have seen people cast white metal with silicone molds in videos. Another question, how can you cast the tabs on the back of the blade. (I know it has to be a two part mold) I would think that they would get hung up in the mold.
