Hey guys! I'm looking forward to get the first gear's komatsu 960e mining truck, I want to ask for pics to see how big it is! Would it fit with the letourneau l1850..???? Or maybe a liebherr 9800 would be a better partner? Thanks and have a nice day!

Unfortunately I can't provide any photo's but the 960 is about the same size as the Norscot Cat 797F. Either the L1850 or the 9800 Liebherr should work perfect with it. "It's O-gauge or no gauge..."

L1850 is a little small for a 960E, we run L2350's to load our 930E haul trucks onsite Here it is up against an 830E

ERFE1630, According to the Joy Global/LeTourneau website: http://www.phmining.com/en/PHMining/Mining-Equipment/WheelLoaders/L-1850.htm".....the L-1850 is designed to center-load most haul trucks with payload ratings of 240-360 ton (218-327 tonne). According to the Komatsu website: http://www.komatsuamerica.com/mining/electric-trucks/960e-2"The 3,500 hp Ultra class 960E-2 has the capacity to carry 280 yd3 or 360 tons of material." In theory, according to the specifications of both machines from the respective websites, the LeTourneau L-1850 wheel loader should be able to load the Komatu 960 truck. The operative word here may be, "most" regarding the LeTourneau L1850 wheel loader. Randy M. Smolenack RMSmodels@aol.comrandy.m.smolenack.civ@mail.milrandy.m.smolenack.civ@mail.mil

I'll think you'd find it would be a high lift spec L1850 which means you loose bucket capacity, more passes required, I'd be surprised to see any mine using the combo

Thanks a lot for the comments guys! Really appreciate you took some time to give information. Now. I know that it's almost like a 797 I'd love to get it but wasn't sure about its specs. That 830 looks like an awesome partner for the letourneau. Did you add some details? Looks outstanding!!!
