Hi all, wanted to see if any one had any ideas on how to make or where to buy some 1/50 accessories. I want some 5 gallon buckets, caution tape (can just be some sort of safety tape), tools, welders, and other accessories you would find on job sites and in yards. Thanks in advance!

I needed a 5 gallon paint bucket for a roll off dumpster that I built. Here's how I made one:

I used my cordless drill as a lathe to turn a taper in a piece of plastic tubing.

I used a triangular file to cut grooves to hold 0.020" rod to form the ridges in the pail.

I placed it in the dumpster and painted it up.

It's pretty sad when the only modeling tool you own is a box cutter.

If the only tool you have is a hammer, you start to see every problem as a nail. Abraham Maslow

I made some grade and station stakes with the halves on toothpicks and some thin strips of orange paper.

Does it have to be 1/50 scale? 1/43 scale seems to look ok.
