Anyone have any experience with the stick pin puller? Seems like I have only seen them on machines from Canada.

Oh so that's what that thing is! I always wondered, I would never see them in Quebec nor in Alberta.

Thanks for the pictures! That high reach job sure is impressive.

So BOT still own some of these 3307, are they??
This one looks in a terrific shape.
Do they still have Detroit`s Under the Hood or they got re-powered for some kind of environnemental b.s. reasons?
Thanks for sharing.
Max.

Cat 245.....Now and Forever

I am looking for industrial auction brochures from Ritchie Bros, Miller & Miller, Forke Bros, First Team Auction, Max Rouse, etc from the 70's, 80's and 90's.I am a collector and heavy equipment enthusiast and these pamphlets are loaded with nice pictures of cleaned and freshly painted equipment.Thet don't have much value once the sale is over but they are a great help to me in preserving the memory of machines that are no longer being built. Please, help my hobby by looking in your old storage boxes and file folders for these old auction sale brochures.Your help is much appreciated.

Max Ya, BOT still has a pile of the 33-07s. They had 15 out where the pictures of the 992K/777G pics were taken on a stripping contract last year. Most of them were kept up in good shape with rebuilt 8-71s & new allisons & a pile had new rubber on them. They were getting loaded by BOTs two EX1100 Hitachis. I have alot of pics from that job if I can ever get them uploaded here... They have 10-12 on this highway 407 job.

Max sorry, the engines in the trucks were 12-71s. There was one or two with Cummins & the 8-71 was a fresh rebuild in their old 82-40.

Thanks for the link. I just always assumed it was some kind of special guard, so I never bothered to research it until the term stick pin puller was used here.

regards,
Jim

It is refreshing to see that some outfits still give these old machines the respect they desserve!!!
Thanks a lot for sharing.
