The yellow jib ("working boom") does look nice. I saw pictures of an Essex setup in similar colors. Do you have a 20' set of pendants? If so, you should put them in to get the boom equalizer closer to the gantry. The instructions are misleading, and if you wanted to lay the boom down, there is not enough boom hoist cable on the drums to do so. Unless you use longer pendants. Regardless, it's a great customization of a really nice model of a classic crane.

Thanks for the comments, I know there is a missing set of pendants, Digging thru all my boxes for them was a pain and I was to impatient to stop the assembly!! Will get around to it eventually. Also the boom winch only spools on one drum, the other side slips. Have several 4100's with that problem and do not really feel like doing the repair
