I have no idea,but I would love to see mining equipment in plastic kits. Would be awesome to assemble a Liebherr 996 for example.

I see these on the Japanese auction sites from time to time. They appear to be from the late 60's or early 70's. There may be some more sets out there other then these five.

There's the Komatsu G40 kit in 1/48 from Tamiya.
