Progress is slow on my main truck for the Open House Diorama. First, the headlights are cast into the body. To remove the plastic liner, slip an exacto knife blade in behind it and the body, gently pop it out. I removed the visor, air horns, and muffler and filled the holes, extended the front bumper. installed a second transmission, transfer case, tail roller, and rear hitch. More to come later.Whistle Ken

That's a nice project. I've always liked those trucks.

Thanks Robert. They are easy to work on. I have a few of the 7000 Severe Service trucks, another nice truck. Ken

Hey guys -

Obviously Ken is getting ready - what about the rest of you. We have about 10 people signed up already for the Open House Model and Diorama Show. Here is a link to the rules and the form for entry - get your entry forms in as we only have a certain amount of space available!

Thanks Lee, same here. I'm sending mine off on Monday. ( Almost forgot about it) Had my room reservation for quite a while now. I hope the motel is still standing after the Republican Convention! Sad Think Ken
