This has been tarted up a bit - painted tracks, interior, grilles. Hydraulics and boom railings added. Small details added. Still needs new thin railings, but that's a job for another time (ie I can't be arsed at the mo). "/> "/>

Great job Jamie . I was waiting for some one to tune up one of those big Komatsu excavators and you did it. Fine work!

Hi Jamie, this came together brilliantly. The small details really add to the look of the machine and make it look so much better than the stock PC 3000. Thanks so much for sharing!

Thanks! The hydraulics are brass wire with alu tube for the connectores, and headphone wire for the pipes. I built the quarry on an old pallet in the garden. Since I took these, it's been refined a bit. Great fun building a mini quarry - I recommend it!

Hey Jamie,
super clean and super sharp - as usual from you! The hydraulics are superb, but I also like the simpler tricks like the blackened radiators. My H485 is still parked on my shelf, didn't touched it so far. But I started operating a mini excavator in real life: it IS he most fun you can have in this world with your pants on.
Cheers,
Max
