Terex RH400 RC Model 1:16

Hi
I have build an Terex RH400 shovel in scale 1:16. It is a fully functional hydraulic rc-model and weights over 460 lbs/210 kg. It took me more than 3 years to build from scratch. It is still not finished yet, but I have no time anymore to do it and to play with it. So I want to sell it now.

regards from Austria
Hubert

Material cost only was about 12k, so my target is 15.000,- EUR + shipping.

As soon as Chuck sees this post, he will certainly delete it. Hopefully you will see this before he does. Your handiwork is impressive as I first saw with your Conrad Liebherr R9100. Congratulations on the model, but may I ask two questions that I think a lot of collectors would be interested in hearing the answers?

With all of your talents; knowing the popularity of 1:50 scale, why didn't you create this project in that scale? I wish I had just won the lottery, then I would certainly have interest in purchasing the piece.

I found it curious in the video that you didn't show the undercarriage in operation. Logic would suggest that it does work, but logic is not always correct. Do you have video of the model moving around on the crawlers?

And an unrelated question; how is your Conrad Liebherr R9800 project going?

Thank you,

I started this project as private, long befor my interest and business in 1:50 scale. And it is still work in progress and not finished, as I wrote in my first post. Since several years I have not the time anymore to finish and to play with it. Crawler motors are implemented, but not connected to the electronics at the moment. Also cab interior and two walkways on the boom are missing. And a fine tuning of hydraulics is also necessary. So this is a rc model for a skilled model builder with knowledge in rc hydraulics and electronics.

RC Liebherr R9800 project in scale 1:50 will start at the end of this year, when some special micro hydraulics components are available.
Thanks

Lovely model. Even wothout the RC gear, it is brilliant. Add the radio control, and it's out of this world!!!

What a fantastic model. The engineering that must have gone it to creating that is unbelievable.
