What an Awesome Event! Special thanks to Eddie Thoits of Peterson Cat for inviting My Wife & I to attend. Peterson's Mechanics did a beautiful job of refurbishing this Quad which was owned & operated by the following contractors in Alaska & Washington;Kiewit, Alaska Unlimited, Wilder & Granite from 1970 to 2006. Several people were asking about steering both units from the front unit. One more time at the controls. It had been 15 years since I had last been on it, but the great job memories came rushing back! They had these really nice plaques at each machine. And they had these banners with the history of Peterson and the machines. I got to meet and talk with the Gentleman that restored the Siamese D8. This is the 1st D4 that Peterson ever sold. It looked like brand new! They did a fantastic job of restoring it. Good German Beer and XLNT BBQ. The best part of all is that my best friend, my drag racing crew chief, my travel buddy, my personal assistant...AKA My Awesome Wife went with me.

Great pics Randy, looks like an outstanding event, would have liked to have seen new cutting edges on the quad to finish it off nicely.
So are Peterson doing an 80 year book???

Cool photos Randy. I would love to have run that 9. Have fond memories of running big old tractors.
