I made this custom vessel and was wondering on the color. I was thinking primer gray. Most of them i have seen are primer gray or primer red/rust color what do you think? I will post pics when painted. "/> "/> "/> "/>

In service vessel in most cases would be silver as you are looking at the cladding over the insulation.

No 3d printer used in that, mostly plastructs add ons to the tubes. My next vessel will have prototype 3d printed landings. Here is the last on I did couple years ago. Yours has much cool shape to it Jason

I used pvc pipe and couplers for it to have ribs like welded pieces together. Plastruct is what I used for the ad ons they make really good quality stuff for models. I made the base plate out of styrene from scratch and the landings and railings out of scratch from styrene. I will try to get painted this weekend and post pics of it finished, hopefully before I leave for CONEXPO. thanks KC

Thanks. I didn't know that plastic pipe had same od as those couplings.I'll have to ck.learn something new.
