Hello all,

Just wanted to remind you that the 53rd annual Watch Fob Show will be held this year at Lakeside Sand and Gravel on April 28-29th in beautiful Mantua, Ohio. (Mantua is a community just Southeast of Cleveland, Ohio). The location is easy to find as it is not far from Streetsboro, off the Ohio Turnpike (I-80).

Some history...

The International Watch Fob Association, Incorporated (IWFAI) - was started over 50 years ago and was formed to allow collectors of watch fobs to meet, greet, trade and sell their fobs. Most of the Watch Fobs were construction and truck related, leading to the club having many members who liked construction memorabilia in general. Over the years, the annual Fob Club show has expanded to over 100 vendor tables full of Watch Fobs, Construction Memorabilia, Scale Models, Toys and many other activities.

Many people don't know that the Club actually was responsible for the founding of the Historical Construction Equipment Association (HCEA). Several Fob Club members decided to start an organization celebrating and recording the history of the machines that built our great country. And the HCEA was born!

Fun Fact: You can actually join the HCEA and the Watch Fob Club as a member or renew your membership right at the show!

Today, the Fob Show is combined with the Lakeside Sand and Gravel Annual Open House. On Friday, April 28th, the Watch Fob Show opens up at 9am and runs until 8pm. On Saturday, April 29th, the Show starts along with the Lakeside Open House with a Flag Raising at 9am sharp and runs until 5pm.

At this show you will find DHS Diecast, Buffalo Road, Joe Wicher, Leon Thompson, Jon Kus, Hugh Freeman, Dan Stimac, Mike Deger, Roger Hull, Ron Butorac, Larry Kotkowski and Dimitrie Toth with tables full of scale models to purchase as well as the authors Edgar Browning and Roger Amato. You will also find watch fobs and construction memorabilia on at least 40 different tables.

This show is definitely worth the trip! You can find out all about the show at Watch Fob Website.

If you have questions about the show - please call the office.
