I was out and about in London on Sunday so decided to take a trip to Earls Court to photo this beast!

Great photos, I saw some photos on Facebook as it was being erected but nothing like this. It's almost difficult to comprehend how huge it is and the photo showing the reeving is mind-boggling.

Do you know what weight the lift(s) were?.

Scania V8. The best sounding truck in the world.

It is removing the final beams on the demolition of the former Earls Court complex. Some of the beams remaining weigh in excess of 1500 tonnes.

Wow, that is an impressive heavy lifter! Thanks so much for sharing. I wonder how those 1500 ton beams went in in the first place...
