Wow - that is an incredible piece of model-making! It's this crane http://cranepedia.com/specs/all-terrain-crane/zoomlion-qay2000/, correct? If so how did you fabricate it? Is it metal or plastic? The graphics on the outriggers looks superbly applied. Great work in every respect!

Thank you Uzair, The model is diecast and very heavy. I did not build it, just painted it. I used this model zoomli22 by Dan Bogusky, on Flickr"/>

Thanks for the reply Steelman. Great paintwork! May I ask who is the manufacturer of the diecast model you used as the base, and also if the scale is 1/50?
By the way for the outrigger graphics, did you paint them or use custom decals?

Don't know the manufacturer (China), it is 1/50 and custom decals.

Hummmm.....
I don't know about this one.... DHS has had this exact factory model in these exact same colors for sale for some time and now it is no longer in their inventory. Ken Kraft also had two of the Tadano ATF 220G-5 cranes custom made ( Uchimiya ) that look really similar to yours.
Ironic.

If you think I purchased them that way, I'll take that as a compliment.

A series was made by WSI for Kenkraft in Uchimiya colours. Kenkraft then custom made about 50 that had some minor differences. I think the licence plate and vehicle number is all that were different. Paul R
