The saloon car was produced in 1960 and is supposed to be in a 1/47 scale(*).
The cabriolet was issued 2 years later and is assumed to be in a 1/46 scale (*)
Note (*): scales above as per "The Great Book of Corgi" from M.R. van Cleemput.
The scales I have found somewhere else are respectively 1/49 and 1/47.

Guy thanks for the information have you had them in your possession for a while, because I check eBay up and down and can not find anything in 1/50 scale for cars or SUV’s which we are now seeing more and more of on the road.

Most of the people think that model cars are all in a 1/43 scale, which is wrong for old models produced late 50s, early 60s. At that time, scale was mainly 1/48 with variations around it, based on available tires size which often dictated the real scale.
Corgi Toys Drawing Dept even used at that time a diagram showing that the smaller a model was, the larger it had to be, as far as scale is concerned (and opposite).
Later on, most of models producers moved effectively to a true 1/43 scale for cars, while and plant equipment were standardized on a 1/50 scale, mainly due to German producers, while British favored the 1/48 scale.
So, don't care about the scale indicated in any offer for old model cars, as it is often wrong.

In the 60s, transport to the Bovington Tank Museum (Dorset - England) of a restored armored car, contemporary of Lawrence of Arabia campaigns in Middle-East:   Austin FE Series 3 4x2/2 flatbed truck (modified Corgi model) carrying a 4.7 tonnes Rolls-Royce 1920 Pattern Mk1 4x2/2 armored car (Matchbox model)   Regards. We are still in the United Kingdom, but in the 70s this time, with an equipment being loaded for export in the Grantham (Lincolnshire) Aveling-Barford factory:    Foden 4 AX B6/41 4x2/2 tractor + Taskers Little Giant 19T 1-axle low bed semi-trailer (modified Corgi models) loading a 12.94 tonnes Aveling-Barford GDO 4x2/1 3-wheeled road roller (modified Dinky Toys model)  To be continued. Guy, you made me fall in love with trucks all over again. Now you have me scrambling all over the Internet searching for trucks I never knew existed. Thanks for the fresh breath of life in the forum. If there is anything I love more than models, it is dioramas. Keep them coming.
A query for you. Where can I find Minicam sets.? The only thing that pops up when I search for Minicams is camera parts. Thanks in anticipation.
I have to say that the wealth of information, especially of the load weights is very welcoming. Rarely do we get so much information and any such detail, however small is always welcome and appreciated.

D3xter, MiniCams is a 1-man company building 1/50 model trucks and repainting existing models for its clients. It is very flexible and tries to tailor models to your specific requirements. As there is not enough volume of work to provide a regular and sufficient income, Norbert (who runs that company) works part-time as a truck driver: he has therefore very little time left for models production. All I can say is,the more details,the better!For me,it is most interesting,to have facts about any 1/1 vehicle,that has been modelled,then changed(for the better)with pieces that add much more.Horsepower is vital,as are modifications to enhance functionallity.
P.S It's good that Jean-Jacque had the same idea as me!Putting the dump bed of a sixwheeler,on an eight wheel chassis.Both models being Conrad.A very easy upgrade.With an excellent result!

Guy what modelmaniac and D3xter have said goes the same for me, it is very informative of trucks that I have never seen before. I love the refrigeration units on your custom trailers they look great.
