I heard some time back that there is a Facebook discussion group about our hobby. If so, could someone tell me how to get there. There is another young man on here that asked me and I don't know how to get on Facebook. And I never want to know. I have never used FB and won't join now. You can post here or send me a PM. This guy is really nice and very enthusiastic. He's a Terex/Euclid nut job!!! Thanks for your help.

There are a lot of model groups on Facebook. Anyone can create a group and they set the privacy settings for that group. Most of them require a person to not only have a Facebook account but to also be a member of that group in order to see everything in it. I'm afraid it may be one of those cases where if you don't sign up then you can't take part. My Facebook page: NorCalDiecastCustomsClifton

I am on facebook but have not added any friends. I am only there to be part of a few diecast groups. While facebook provides ease of posting pictures, most groups have zero value as there is no discussion on them. People just 'like' a picture and move on. You cannot go back to a post and find any reference material if you want to learn anything extra about a certain model or machine. You are not missing anything more than a few pictures and the usual suspects will be found on a couple of other facebook groups as well.

Ken I still don’t know how to use a knife and fork and sometimes drool while trying to get food in my mouth. The Q does not know how to use utensils either but then again he has moved on from them and has a straw down pat, to put in his Ensure can. Also my wife still has an egg on her head from when I clubbed her 33 years ago and dragged her from her childhood home. I really am a tech tard (not politically correct but is dead on), if you could only see my 3D printer graveyard. Steve
