I've been noodling around with several CCMs. This was a "totaled" model, busted sxs blade mounts and pretty hammered connection points. Took a blade from a D9L and used a resin cast push block I had. The PB isn't the best but good enough for the scale model scrapers on the shelf.

Here is a D9L Pushcat that I modified from a standard pusher. Details include a new pushblade and MSR from a D10T. The rear screen is from Dirtboy54, track carrier rollers from ASM on shapeways. There was a contractor here in Colorado, Southaway Construction, He had a small fleet of machines, D9L was very similar to this one, 631Es (more later on that conversion) a 988B and some 769C rock trucks. He did "mountain" work in the southern half of the state. That exhausts my knowledge of them. There was an auction here, RB, where the iron was listed and sold, the company is still around but not much information on them.

Nice job on that, those older dozers look so much better than their current designs.

Here is the 631E that we typically see in these parts. One contractor has about 24 of them running around, usually pushed by D9T or D10T dozers. The Sideboards are from Shapeways and Dirtboy54's page. The trashrack came from the parts bin.
