Guys: I'm having a discussion with that weirdo in Rhode Island. The Hough Paydozer was made by ATM in 1:50TH. Was this model also made by another Mfg in diecast? Brandon used to have these, but I cannot remember what they were made of. What a great looking machine. CAW

ATM is the only one I know of, and that might have been diecast and resin.Think

In my discussion with The Old Man from Mars, I told him I had purchased one back in the day from BRI before DHS was born and thought it might have been made by EMD or Nestor Marine and it is all resin except for the rims and the pusher plate on the rear (a word I probably should not be using in a post he will be reading) of the machine which are both diecast. Not only is The Q very old, very senile, probably very sensitive, very bald and very blind he is also very impatient because I told him I was looking for the box that came with it when purchased. I still have not located the box and his wife must be an angel to live with Ebeneser. God Bless your much better half.
Looking in RI for information for an Old Dude from Mars or some other far away uninhibited planet

Brian I played hockey year round. I leave the fishing to those guys in NC who watch a lot of cars just keep making left hand turns for hours at time.

GC1 I probably should not have said “old man” at The Q’s age I should have been specific and said very very very old man, in which case I would have not offended the older members of the forum which I am part of. He was friends with Attila The Hun, that’s were he gets his charming personality from. As far as a hook in my own mouth that would never happen, I would use a gun to a rod to fish.

You just can't stay on topic, can you? Did you ever find out about the Hough Paydozer in white metal? Now put your pacifier back in and maybe your wife will read you a story.

Q no I have not found out about the white metal version, and I just interrupted my wife whien she was making the steam noises while reading Mike Mulligan and his steam shovel story to me, so I could answer your post. Thanks a lot.
By the way the illustrations in this book are excellent so even though there are words and sentences in this book you should still get a copy.
Your dear friend from RI peace out old dude
