I seen this metal kit on eBay, looks interesting. It is supposed to be used on a Revell Kenworth kit but looks like a guy could use it on a newer, more modern 1/50 truck like a Sword, WSI. First Gear, etc.

Kind of cool. Hope somebody on here builds one.

I built this one about 5 years ago with a few modifications to the kit. I had the logging gear on a KW T800W years prior to putting it on this Pete 379 but I wanted to do something different with the T800W so I made the change. I know a couple other guys have also used this kit on 1/50 trucks. You'll have to excuse the quality of the photos, they were taken on a phone that was old even then.

this appears to be an Old "Mackenzie iron works" (or something like that) kit,from the Eugene, Oregon area, I had heard another firm had picked up the line when the original designer's health declined. now I know who.
