Anyone familiar with a 25 ton American railroad crane? I just picked one up today at a local train show was wondering

i actually do wish i can get my hands on a few older American crawler cranes too. but it looks like manitowoc 4100 will be the only one available...

Hi. Go to ( construction collectors ) on the CCM Web site they have some great American cranes .
For sale brass mainly big $ though.

Assuming that you refer to this MTH O gauge model: https://mthtrains.com/30-7932 , you should find here specifications of about 25 different American Hoist & Derrick railroad cranes: https://cranemarket.com/specs/rail-equipment/railroad-cranes/american
I suppose that the unit modeled by MTH in a 1/48 scale is the 825 DE model: https://cranemarket.com/specification-1266

That’s the one was looking for a reeving diagram for it was sold without a box or instructions. It is not reeved but think I got something. It is a pretty nice piece. Thanks Guy

Indeed big $!! i was hoping for something less than $300 usd....lol... Guess it's back to playing around with my cheapo 130 euro EMCC vinci conrad sennebogen 5500.... I like the bulky classic look of the upper sometimes, but i guess the cheaper way to go is probably getting a twh 4100w.....
