Craig,

You're right: the other yellow low loader was made by Jean-Francois from a Joal 3-axle lowboy, with 1 extra axle added.

Guy any pictures of a 1/1 of that cab over Renault/Mack. Your pictures of the F700 look great especially that single axle.

Steve,

The Renault/Mack truck was the AE, previous version of the famous Magnum truck, fitted with a Mack engine.
Here is a 4x2 version for sale: http://heavycherry.com/machineinfo/renault/-magnum_ae_470_mack-1998-semi_trailer_truck-standard_tractortrailer_unit.html

In 1997, the "AE" was renamed in "Magnum" and upgraded: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renault_AE/Magnum

Cheers.

Steve,

I think that both Western Star 4700 tractors (SB and SF models) have been nicely modeled by Diecast Masters, and for a reasonable price, which is even better.
I haven't bought any of the other units (cement mixer and tipper) which I can't comment upon.

I hope this helps.

Please don't. I have three and I was going to give them away. Just don't care for them too much. I'm retired anyway. CAW
