I can take a picture of the kit, it is on my workbench. Just not sure how to post it.

Hi Gregg,
I know of two kits for a D9G winch, both of them made from white metal. One is from EMD and the other one is from Ad Gevers I believe? For posting pictures, you need to upload them to a picture provider and embedd the link.
Best regards, Max

Thanks for your reply Max. I think my winch was from EMD. Is Ad still making attachments? I will have to look into the posting idea as I am very poor at computer things.

There is a 3D PRINTED 1/50 scale Cat D8 winch listed on SHAPEWAYS that might work on a D9

There should be a hole in the bottom of the main body for the hitch to fit into.0001187_d9g-winch-kit-metal-rotating-drum_550_LI by Ken Wheeler, on Flickr"/> This piece is a control box that fits on the top of the winch body next to the tractor body. An option is to run a couple of hydraulic lines into the inner side of the box from under the fuel tank.0001187_d9g-winch-kit-metal-rotating-drum_550_LI (2) by Ken Wheeler, on Flickr"/>

Hi Gregg, yes, as far I know, Ad is still producing attachment kits on a short-run base. You can check http://www.minimovers.nl/updates for new releases. Best regards, Max
