The last we heard was this update https://ccmodels.com/124-cat-d11-progress-update/Absolutely no release date provided, and nobody knows exactly when, not even CCM I think. Sometime early next year seems to be general perception. With global shipping (especially from USA to Europe, for collectors such as myself) being very unreliable, slow, and expensive, I would not be a in hurry to have these released right now. When things stabilize - hopefully definitely so by the end of 2020 - it would be better to have these shipped.

Hi, The CCM D 11's have started to ship, I was wanting to know if anyone knows, the weight of the carton and the dimensions. Supposedly they are shipping on an individual timber pallet per model? Thank you.

Yes, the package is quite heavy and each one shipped will be palletized to help ensure safe shipping. Thankfully their shop is within driving range for me and I was able to pick my CD version up this last week when they came in. Really glad I didn't wait on this one like I did with the D10T2 Coal Blade, it's another fantastic 1:24!

JD; Are the tracks on the right way? It was pointed out to me this morning that in the pictures on the CCM website the tracks are on backwards. Hope they corrected that before they leave the factory. https://ccmodels.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/D11-IR_3qtr.jpg

Hello,
Models have started shipping. They are coming domestically on the small pallets to help keep them safe. Ours are all sold out!

Ross- I'd share photos of mine but I haven't spent any time figuring out posting photos. But the tracks in the photos of the prototype as well as the actual model are replicated correctly. Paul- I'd love to compare them side by side, but the R is still above my pay grade so to speak . I have to imagine, though, diecast will never get as crisp, detailed, or real looking than brass is able to be ( especially in this scale ).

Really Bad news since none of you have been paying any attention unless you already know there have been reports of these3 being damaged in shipping and some people have gotten theirs damaged also there really is no words that I can express about how sad this situation is

That is true. Unfortunately those who have already received theirs with damage are S.O.L. unless CCM decides to offer refunds. I'd imagine they have some serious damage control to work on. Lots of people are out $2000 on badly broken models with no replacement possible.

Are these facts you have been told or pure speculation on your part?

That was fact two weeks ago. Seems that the phone won't stop ringing at CCM and the attitude has softened up a bit. Haven't heard the resolution yet but I've been told CCM is working something out. Hopefully everyone ends up happy. Should've been an awesome model experience and it's a shame it went the way it did.
