Hi guys
Here is my American 11310 crane in 1:50 scale.
I always wanted a 1100 series American as model in my cabinet, so i decided to build one.
After long thinking decided i found the 11310 the most beautiful model of the range.
Mainly because the counterweight configuration looks better in proportion to the rest of the machine.
But this is of course a personal taste thing.
For now i went for the basic machine with a short boom.
Decided to 3D print all the parts, and that worked out pretty well.
Printing quality is rapidly getting better and better, prices unfortunately not so much.
Found another printing company that has very good and new material, very strong and very nice resolution.
So the whole model is 3D printed except for some brass axles.
After all this work decided to put the parts up for sale, so that whoever want this also can build this model.
Must warn you this is not an easy model and not for the inexperienced model builder.
Also like i said went to another 3D printer (instead of the well-known one) Material is great, prices are better.
But still is wish the prices would be a lot less, butt that is out of my control.
Nice part is that this base machine can be converted in a lot of variations.
At the moment i am working on a few of these options and variations.
One of them is the 11320 instead of 11310, all the parts are already for sale to build that one as well.
The elevated cab is under construction (digital) and so is the runner.
So lots of things to come.
