Ever want to make your CC8800 taller or reach max height? Now you can....Coming this summer!!! https://www.sarensshop.com/en/sarens-cc-8800-extension-setThe set comes with the new pendants so you won't quite be able to use it with the old cc8800... the boombooster model comes with four 12m and two 6m regular boom sections in addition to the boombooster sections. The cc8800 jib uses the same sections as the regular main boom. According to documentation, max height with luffing jib SWSL needs 18x of the 12m sections. so you would need 5x of the boom extension kits Having 5x of the boom extension sets would then allow for ALL possible configurations with regular booms and boombooster.

Just to be clear, this appears to be a boom booster section rather than a regular boom section.

Those are two regular 12m and two 6m sections in each extension set. You cannot "extend" a boombooster boom portion because the boombooster included in each crane set is already the max size boombooster that it can be. The non boombooster portion can be increased in length as well as the jib portion

so excited I got my extra boom sections ordered! anyone also got their extra boom sections? These are even slightly bigger than LR 1750 section but are a bit shorter since they are 12m instead of 14m.
I think the 1:1 ver tallest height is nearly 250m so that would be 5m at 1/50!i

If you are going to have trouble with displaying your ltm 1500's with full jibs, how are you going to display this!

Maybe i ll just display the extension box ;)..lol I currently have an LR1600 with one 12m main boom section on my desk. I might replace it with a cc8800 with a single main boom section.. It would be like the shortest or almost shortest configuration possible ;)

Just got my extension kits. Here are some pics. Already predictably sold out on Sarens shop site. It is always always the same story: extension kits completely sold out before the actual crane. Not sure why they can't keep making these extension kits as demand is definitely there, even more than the crane itself. Needs 5 kits to allow for max height in all configurations
