I seen that pricing changed on these on DHS from $369 to $419. Will it change for those who pre-ordered with the original pricing?

Why the price changed to higher? did WSI up their retail price?

WSI made a mistake and had listed the old price of the original jibs. This was then corrected but any jibs ordered before (I think) the 18th November, they honoured the old price. Not sure how retailers will do this.

how about 1750?

They said there is no immediate plans for these right now, however people have made the 500 jibs work.

How do you get 1500 to "work" with 1750?

There is currently a worldwide shipping issue. I know just about all my suppliers for industrial components are having massive problems with getting shipping containers unloaders or even Asia finding shipping containers right now. This is probably being effected in the same way.

seems like i am the only one excited about this? lol...anyone else ordered theirs? This could be a big thing since this is something that can lead to a 1750 jib, which we all wanted. And also the fact that there will be no more cheap plastic sections!! that gotta excite everyone.

Make sure to post some pics of those jibs when you get them setup. I wanna see how or IF they work with the 1750 before I pick one up.

Reportedly they should work with the 1750 if the attachment point is the same as old 1500 jib. But supposedly it doesn't look right like a real 1750 jib supposed to be. But will see when i get them

They do work with some minor mods. They also look okay if the TY is not being used, but if it is then it is then it isn’t correct and therefore doesn’t look right. The 1750 when the Y guy is used has a set up more like the 11200 than the 1500.

Thanks,

I will be ordering one up in a bit. Can't decide on the color yet and I have a few house projects to get done first.

Cool. I can't wait to get mine either. i have one of the original set. The several plastic sections are a turn off. I also have the ATF400 jib which are mostly plastics and it is kind of a turn off too...

Hoping for a proper 1750 jib with the new alum sections.

Finally got mine in the mail. 3 out of 6 colors. the other box with the other 3 color has still not made here to US yet ;(. I will have to find some time to set it up. it's supposed to be a long jib well over 1.6m. but i don't have very high ceiling....lol...
ian said he likes his very much in the review so i think everyone who has a 1500 should definitely get one no question. You never know when they might stop making it then it will be just like the old jib in which you cant find it anymore.
