Liebherr were "teasing" some of us last week with a post on Facebook showing the darkened side of a mining truck and the words "something new is coming".

Thoughts are it's an updated T264 but does anyone have any other ideas/info what it might be and will there be much difference to see?.

Ah, okay, thanks.

Hopefully we'll see a model version too.

I've heard the T 236 will be the next truck model produced.

I tend to favour the bigger mining trucks but it'll be interesting to see the T236 and I might be persuaded by it.

Strangely, the photo Liebherr released today(your one above) doesn't look like the promotional one from yesterday.

It had a different dump body and I was looking forward to seeing it for real.

Fingers crossed a model of the T274 will appear at some time though.

There are at least 3 different dump bodies shown fitted to the truck on the Liebherr website and T 274 microsite. If a T 274 comes to fruition, any of those would suit me fine, but what I really would like to see is a Duratray body. Hopefully, I will have an opportunity to speak with them at MINExpo later in the year and continue the conversation started back in 2016.

We must not forget that when the T 284 from was produced, Conrad made a statement that a 2nd different dump body would be produced that could be fitted but it never materialized.
