I was hoping that WSI when the KWs, Macks, Rogers lowboy and East dump trailers were taken over that the line was going to be expanded. Whatever happened with the quick release and was there ever any plans to continue on, possibly producing the ever elusive concrete beam hauler? Would have loved to see the fuel & lube truck along with the mechanic trucks being re-released also. I absolutely love how the Ebay sellers have jacked the prices up so ridiculously that it's a complete joke nowadays. A reproduction would definitely kill those values and these clowns that have dictated the hobby of resale.

I 100% agree, because I passed on a lot of the original releases as I could not afford them at the time, now I can. Would not mind someone like Weiss Bros acquiring the tooling (wherever they may be) and making small batches of the East Dump Trailers, Pete 335 trucks, 357 lube, Mack flatbeds, and distributor trucks. Always thought it was kind of strange how the beam trailer fizzled out too since it was just a rework of the Nelson 3x3x3 trailers, thought it be rather straight forward producing that trailer. Also do not appreciate the resellers inflating the prices on these trucks, it makes it even more difficult finding them without overpaying. Like everything that HHR is doing now as they seem the closest to Sword in terms of quality, detail and features, just seems to me that they are laser focused on making tractors at the moment and we are missing out on construction related North American vocational trucks in this hobby.

I was hopeful when Weiss did the East step deck trailer, I was one of the people who had the sample version (still do) that I think only two were produced years ago prior to the mass production. I do believe Chuck had the other sample version.

HHR looks incredible but holy sheesh, those prices are crazy. I can't jusitfy spending $300 on a truck and then add on a trailer at a later date. But I am looking forward to what they have in the works with the lowboy.

The 870s are sort of notorious for that, unfortunately. I've heard of some that still have one new in the box and they're afraid to open them based on what they might see. I have yet to have an issue with any of my TWH/Sword trucks, some of which I've had for over 10 years.
